Calling Climate NGOs!

Vector Institute and Be Node launched The Global AI Alliance for Climate Action project for bringing together AI researchers and Climate NGOs to find solutions for climate emergencies.

Description: This initiative holds immense potential to foster impactful partnerships between Vector researchers and select climate NGOs. Together, we can drive collaborative research efforts and develop innovative solutions to address the pressing climate emergencies.

  1. Why should join this alliance? Expand your global network: Collaborate with leading experts and NGOs from around the world.
  2. Tap into world-class AI expertise: Each participating NGO will have a team of dedicated ML researchers and a technical advisor from Vector Institute.
  3. Secure substantial funding: 3 project researchers will be funded approx. USD $25,000 for each project.

Expression of Interest Deadline: August 26, 2024, 12:00 PM EST

 Minimum Requirements:

1. Operate as a Not-for-Profit
2. Have operational capabilities to deployment of solution
3. Have available data and potential use cases

1. Complete the Expression of Interest Form Our team will get back to all applicants within the two weeks of the deadline.

Five selected NGOs will join for virtual meetings in early September and the in-person summit in Istanbul on October 3-4, 2024.

Transportation and accommodation expenses for the summit will be covered by the project (one delegate from each organization).
