To build this community to the size where we can achieve our goal of scaling and accelerating climate action to a globally relevant scale, we will need many collaborators.
We appreciate any skills you may have and want to contribute, including:
> Writing and editing to get the most useful and up to date information onto this web site.
> Moderating forums (also starting new forums on your area of expertise)
> Proposal writing – our team of collaborators is constantly writing proposals, and we appreciate all the help we can get. This is a great opportunity for students to volunteer and learn more about the front end of the research process. Graduate students may also find opportunities to design research projects they can contribute to.
> Web site maintenance – we are using wordpress, BuddyBoss and a few other plugins.
> Social media – help us create and deliver a social media strategy that adds value to our audiences and gives us insights into what they need to scale and accelerate climate action.
> Event organization – many of our members are regularly holding events on relevant topics and can use help organizing them.
> Fundraising – yes, that, too. We often hear that this Climate Action Collaboration is useful and there should be much interest from funders. We could use help translating that into resources for our projects.
Note that many projects also are looking for research assistants and volunteers on studies. If you are looking for those kinds of positions it might be best to post them in the ‘Matching’ section. But feel free to let us know by email or the contact form anyways.
To contribute, please fill in the contact us form.
